Here at Vergam Dental and Podiatry, we take pride in providing first class patient centred healthcare, in a friendly, relaxed environment from our caring and approachable team. Established over 40 years ago, Vergam Dental has continually provided high quality care and services to the communities of Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion. Located in the coastal town of Fishguard, we are easily accessible by public transport and ample parking is readily available nearby. All of our facilities are at ground floor level, ideally suited for disabled access.
Our comprehensively trained care team complemented by our state of the art technologies, allows us to offer dental care for all the family. About The Practice
Established in the mid-1970s, Vergam Dental has become renowned for offering quality dental care and services in the heart of Fishguard. We are proud to offer a bilingual service to our patients, for more information please visit our website in Welsh.
We abide by a number of codes of practice here at Vergam Dental, ensuring all of our staff are continually trained and offered professional development to stay up to date and provide the best possible care to our patients. Our clinical care team is fully accredited and registered with the General Dental Council (www.gdc-uk.org).

We are primarily a Denplan accredited practice offering you an affordable package to suit your dental needs. Following your initial consultation with us, you will be offered a Denplan service available by monthly or annual payments. Registration with Denplan grants you access to regular check-ups and treatments with your dentist without the risk of incurring unexpected costs. Pay as you go (PAYG) Services
At the discretion of your dentist we may provide a pay as you go (PAYG) service. We guarantee to offer a competitively priced treatment and service tailored to your needs. National Health Service (NHS)
Vergam Dental currently holds a contract with the local health board to provide NHS Services to existing registered patients. From time to time we enrol new patients on the NHS register; however we are not currently registering new NHS patients. Catrin is the principal dentist; she graduated BDS (Wales) from University of Wales, College of Medicine in 1986. Catrin is a member of the BDA and is registered with both the General Dental Council (GDC) and local NHS board. Catrin enjoys the challenges of dentistry and has extended her clinical training to include adult orthodontic and facial cosmetics. Her special interests include oral surgery, periodontics and paediatric dental care. She is a fluent welsh speaker, originally from North Wales. She started her career in Fishguard 27 years ago and liked the area so much decided to stay and took over the practice in 1989. In her spare time Catrin enjoys gardening and competing in equestrian events with her horse Steve.
BSc(Hons) Pod MCh.S.SRCh
Stuart graduated from the school of Podiatry in Cardiff with a BSc honours in 2003. He is fully registered and accredited by the Health Professionals Council (HPC) as a Podiatrist/Chiropodist. He has special interest in nail surgery using local anesthetic. Stuart moved to the Pembrokeshire area over 15 years ago. Stuart has an interest in archeology and history, is a keen rugby fan and supports Catrin in her equestrian events in his spare time.

Corinne graduated BDS and AKC Kings College, London with honors and distinction in all years. Corinne is a member of the BDA and is registered with both the General Dental Council (GDC) and local NHS board. In addition to rapidly establishing herself as a skilled dentist, Corinne offers an unrivaled care of anxious patients, children and patients with special needs. Growing up in the Plymouth area, Corinne chose to relocate to Milford Haven following her studies in London. Corinne regularly sails in the coastal waters of Pembrokeshire and enjoys coastal path walks with Sam her cocker spaniel. Corinne is also learning welsh in her spare time.
Pauline is the practices longest serving member of staff and is Catrin's nurse. Pauline as well as being senior nurse has gained specialist skills and uses her experience to help with the smooth running of the practice.

Dental nurse Lucy (GDC Number: 253715) provides care and clinical support to our patients. Through continuous professional and personal development, we are continually updated in latest dental practices and procedures. Our nurses ensure a welcoming and patient centered experience. Support staff Jo (GDC Number: 252115), Zoë (GDC Number: 266232) (also trained dental nurses) and Andrea offer a warm reception to the practice while providing administrative support and day to day running of the practice.

Vergam Dental operates emergency clinics in conjunction with other local practitioners. If you are seen by one of our fellow practices for emergency treatment, a follow-up appointment will be arranged with your regular dentist as soon as practicable to ensure continuity of your care.
